The Sabine Index - August 23, 1973

  Leonard Winn

  Leonard (Wimpy) Winn died in Converse on August 15, after an
extened illness. He was 67 years old.

  Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Zwolle on
August 17 at 2 p.m. Burial was handled by the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home at the Zwolle Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wiley
Hawkins, Quinton Brandon, V. H. Salter, C. C. Nabours, Woodrow
Salter and Jack Napier.

  Mr. Winn is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Lee Winn; a son,
Jimmy Winn of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. Ida Selby of Tyler, Tex;
and two brothers, H. W. Winn of Gladwater, Tex., and C. R. Winn
of Shreveport.
