George Thomas Womack

  George Thomas Womack, 59, died in Shreveport, Tuesday, Nov. 2,
at 1 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Union Baptist Church,
Thursday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Clarence Welsh
officiating. Interment was in the Florien Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Mary Womack; one son,
Bruce Womack of Hornbeck; three sisters, Lula Mae Allegood of
Fitzgerald, Ga., Elizabeth Mixon of Macon, Ga., and Louise
Wheeler of Adrian, Ga.; and his mother, Mrs. Sally Lee Womack of
Adrian, Ga.
