Paul Frank Wankel, 66, of Many, will be held today, August 2, 1995, at 10 a.m., at Warren Meadows Chapel in Many. Officiating will be the Rev. Lowell Bell, the Rev. Richard Foster, the Rev. C. M. Huff, and Ralph West. Interment will be in Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Rev. Wankel died July 31, 1995, in Highland Hospital in Shreveport. Rev. Wankel was born to Sarah and Harry Wankel, January 24, 1929, in Murryville, Ill. Survivors are his wife, Betty Wankel of Many; four daughters, Paula Graves of Many, Esther and husband Henry Weis Jr. of McCook Lake, S. D., Marsha and husband Randall Stoker of Lafayette, and Denise and husband Wayne Ward of Palm Bay, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Reining of Jacksonville, Ill., and Alice Wankel of Beardstown, Ill.; two brothers, Ralph Wankel of Beardstown, Ill., and Carl Wankel of Jackson, Ill.; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
