Capt. Wayne D. Wendt

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, for Capt. Wayne
D. Wendt, 28, who was killed in a plane crash in North Dakota,
October 3.

  The services were held in the Many Methodist Church. Military
rites were held at the grave. Burial was in the Many Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, the former Kitty Tackett of Many;
one son, Wayne D. Wendt Jr.; one daughter, Robin Renee Wendt; his
father, Howard Wendt of Redding, Calif.; three brothers, Morgan
Wendt of Dallas, Ore., Beryl Wendt of Dixie Valley, Calif., and
Alden Wendt of Bellingham, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Joe Snyder
of Crescent City, Calif., Mrs. Bill Burton of Seattle, Wash.,
Mrs. Orville Crum, and Mrs. Hiram Crum of McArthur, Calif.
