Joe L. Windborn

  (INDEX Photo) of the death car that sent one man to his death,
and two others in the hospital early Sunday night. Dead at the
scene was Joe L. Windborn, 53, of Leesville. The other two men
who were riding in the car was Johnny Week, 39, and C. B.
Johnson, 38, both of Leesville. The accident happened on Hwy.
171, just north of Noble, about 8 p.m. According to the
investigating officer, State Trooper Joe Byles, the car was
traveling at a high rate of speed, and failed to make the curve,
leaving the road, and striking a pine tree.
