Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Dec. 13, at Beulah Methodist Church near Marthaville, with interment following at Beulah Cemetery. Bro. Alvon Hall officiated. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Gail Blue and husband Bobby of Garrison, Texas, and Sherry Sue Runnels of Center, Texas; one sister, Alice Clarice Palmer of Marthaville; two brothers, Charlie Dewey Gunel of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lee Ellis Gunel of DeBerry, Texas; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
