The Sabine Index - J. C. Wright

  8 Mar 1935 - J. C. Wright, 76, expired at his residence in Belmont
last Friday, followed by funeral services at Belmont Baptist church
at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. J. B. Williams of Many conducting
the last rites.

  Mr. Wright has lived at and been one of Belmont's progressive
farmers for more than 50 years and had been prominent in public
affairs.  His death came after a long illness.

  Deceased is survived by six daughters:  Miss Eddie Wright, Belmont,
Mrs. Hettie Byrd, Marthaville, Miss Mattie Wright, Converse, Miss
Lettie Wright, Converse, Miss Rettie Wright, Belmont; Miss Vette
Wright, Belmont, one son M. D. Wright, also a large number of
grandchildren.
