Wright 14 Oct 1938 - On Saturday morning October 1 at four o'clock F. D. Wright was called home to be with God. He was born in the Antioch community twenty-four years ago last April. Until four hears ago he made his home with his family there, then he went in business in Many, where he has made many friends for himself. He leaves to mourn his departure a father, mother, three brothers, two sisters and his wife, formerly Miss Charline Bowman to whom he was married on the fifth of last February. When he was fourteen years of age brother J. M. Pate held a meeting and F. D. Wright accepted Christ as his saviour and after Baptism was accepted as a member in good standing of the Antioch Baptist Church of which he was a member and from which place the funeral was held on Sunday morning, October 2. Although our hearts are grieved we rejoice that he was prepared to go and even now is happy for he is beyond that vale of tears. To the family we express sympathy; may God's Holy Spirit comfort and sustain you in your loss; May the home going of all our loved ones only make heaven more real and more challenging to each of us.
