John Wright

  John Wright, 66, of Florien, died on Friday, Sept. 30, at 12:45
a.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Wright of Florien; three
sons, Harold M. Wright of Dallas, Tex., Richard A. Wright of
Florien, and Jerry L. Wright of El Dorado, Ark.; one daughter,
Mrs. Rita Salter of Florien; one brother, Robert Wright of
Negreet; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Carroll of Sulphur, and Mrs.
Maude Anderson of Florien; and eight grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Florien First Baptist Church
on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 4 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Avon
Cavanaugh, and the Rev. Fred Corley. Masonic rites were held at
the graveside in the Florien Cemetery, The Masonic services were
under the direction of the Florien Lodge No. 263.

  Burial was under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
