All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - William Nathan Wright 23 Mar 1956 - Funeral services for William Nathan Wright, 85, of Lamesa, Texas, who passed away Thursday, March 8 at a hospital in Raymondville, Texas was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9 at Sebastian Baptist church with Rev. R. W. Taitte of Harlington, Texas officiating, assisted by Rev. W. N. Clark Pharr of Lemesa. Surviving are six sons, Howard, Dawson, and Grady Wright of Lemesa, Otis Wright of Leveland, Rev. Robert Wright of Sebastian and Rev. Wilburn Wright of Baxter, Tenn.; four daughters, Mrs. C. T. Ernest of Corpus Christi, Mrs. E. E. Ham of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Jack Fambrough of Hereford, Texas and Mrs. Raymond Franks, Harlington, 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. His brothers are: H. L. Wright of San Diego, J. J., W. C., W. M. and J. L. Wright, all of Many; sisters, Mrs. J. A. Addison of Many and Mrs. W. C. Ford of Shreveport. Mr. Wright was born in Alabama, moved to Louisiana and March 8, 1907 he and his family moved to Lameasa, Texas, where he made his home until his death. At the time of his illness he was at the home of his son, Rev. Arthur Wright at Sebastian, Texas. The body was forwarded by Duddleston Funeral Home to Lamesa, Texas, for burial at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11.
