Leona Salter Wright

  9 Dec 1992 - Services for Leona Salter Wright, age 82, were held
at 10 a.m. Friday, December 4, at Parkview Baptist Church under
the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. A graveside
service was held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Many Cemetery.
Officiating was the Rev. Wayne Reeves, pastor of Parkview Baptist
Church, where she was a member and assisted by Rev. Elcie Walker,
pastor Oak Hill Baptist Church.

  Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E.
Wright and daughter, Sandra Leona Brown.

  She is survived by two sons, James E. Wright of Las Vegas, Nv.
and Dickie Wright of Shreveport, one daughter, Mrs. Bobbie
Beasley Armstrong of Des Moines, five sisters, Mrs. E. L. Willard
of Texerkana, Mrs. Horace Tompkins of Many, Mrs. Ted W. Davenport
of DeRidder, Mrs. Willis Diebel of Houston, and Mrs. E. L.
Edwards of Many, two brothers, Leon D. Salter of Shreveport and
Norman Salter of Lafayette, eleven grandchildren and eighteen
great-grandchildren.
