Wright, age 80, will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 o'clock at the Zion Hill Baptist church Negreet with Rev. V. R. Miller officiating assisted by Rev. W. H. Rose and Rev. Billy Jackson. Interment will be in the Zion Hill church cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Survivors are Mrs. W. M. Wright, sons, Cecil Wright, J. E. Wright and Maston Wright, all of Many, Nathan Wright and Howard Wright of Negreet; daughters, Mrs. Alvin Curtis, Negreet and Mrs. Elmo Curtis, Miranda City, Texas, and Mrs. Melvin Wright of Many; brothers, J. L. Wright, Zwolle, J. J. Wright, Many, W. C. Wright, Negreet and H. L. Wright, Negreet and H. L. Wright, Robston, Texas; sisters, Mrs. W. C. Ford, Shreveport, and Mrs. Hattie Addison of Many, 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wright passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Melvin Wright at Many Thursday morning after a lengthy illness. He was active in parish affairs having served as police juror of his home ward three of Sabine parish.
