  Mr. Harold Miller Wright was born on Jan. 15, 1934, and died
March 13, 2001, in Dallas, Texas.

  Mr. Wright was a graduate of Florien High School, and
Northwestern State University of Natchitoches, and a member of
the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He was a member of the Hella Shrine
golfers, Jappa Blue Lodge, and Scottish Rite. He retired from
Logging Meat Co. in May of 2000.

  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 16, at
Skillman Ave. Church of Christ, with interment following at
Restland Memorial Park.

  Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Ester Joy; two brothers,
Richard Wright and wife Delories of Florien, and Jerry Wright and
wife Nancy of El Dorado, Ark.; one sister, Rita Crittenden and
husband Dennis of Florien; nephews, Wendell Wright and wife
Deanna of Florien, Jeff Wright and wife Stacy of Baton Rouge,
Christopher Wright and wife Leslie of Baton Rouge, Bruce Salter
and wife Cindy, Brian and wife Barbara, and Gary Salter, all of
Florien; two nieces, Susie Wright Anthony and husband Greg of
Florien, and Shelly Wright Bourgeois and husband Chris of Baton
Rouge; 14 great nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins, and friends.

  Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents, John L., and
Ruby Miller Wright of Florien.

  Memorials may be made in memory of Harold M. Wright, to the
Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, 2222 Wilborn Street,
Dallas, Texas, 75219.
