M. H. Wright

  Marion H. Wright Sr. of 1401 Wilkinson St., a carpenter and
Shreveport resident of 24 years, died Aug. 24, in a local
hospital, following a lengthy illness.

  He was a native of Negreet.

  Mr. Wright is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice C. Wright of
Shreveport; four sons, M. H. Wright Jr. of Shreveport, Curtis
Wright of Walnut Creek, Calif., Leary Wright of Shreveport, and
Charles Wright of Covington; one daughter, Mrs. Morrison Hynd of
Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, John Wright of Florien, and R. E.
Wright of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Anderson of Lake
Charles, and Mrs. Lillian Carroll of Sulphur, Tex.; and seven
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m., August 25, in the
Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Kenneth Gibson,
pastor of Parkview Baptist Church. Burial was in Forest Park
Cemetery.
