He was born on Aug. 20, 1915, in Negreet. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Warren Meadows Chapel, with interment following at Zion Hill Cemetery in Negreet. The Rev. Bill Hines officiated. Ralph was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving before, and for the duration of WWII. He was an educator at Many Jr. High School. Mr. Wright earned a masters degree + 30. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a vast knowledge of, and a deep appreciation for nature. Survivors include his children, Rocky Wright of Many, Rex Wright of Florien, and Rebecca Wright Hauser of Sacramento, Calif.; sister, Fay Wright Andries of Many, Doris McDonald Wright of Many; mother of his children; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two nieces; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lula Gandy Wright, and wife, Eunice K. Wright. Pallbearers were Kenneth Ammons, Terry Wayne Wright, W. R. Gandy, Tommy Joe Andries, Rex Wright, and Brent Wright. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Underwood, and Howard Wright. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
