Worsham, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Worsham of Florien was killed Feb. 19 on Iwo Jima, the war department has reported. He was 26 years of age. A veteran of three years service with the marines, he had participated in the invasion of the Marshalls and Marianas. Before entering the marines in 1942, Lt. Worsham was assistant agromnist in charge of the Louisiana soil testing laboratory. He held B. S. and M. S. degrees for LSU and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Zeta and Sigma Xi fraternities. Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Lt. Marshall L. Worsham, serving in Germany, and one sister, Miss Rose E. Worsham, Baton Rouge.
