Funeral services were held at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Bob Hannigan, and the Rev. Don Slack officiating. Burial followed at the Union Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. Pallbearers were Buddy Rutherford, Bill Love, Bill Morton, Kendall Rutherford, Donald Rutherford, Bo Norwood, and Joe Sayers. Honorary pallbearers were W. H. Rutherford, and Lelvis Hicks. Mr. Worsham was preceded in death by two sisters, Madge Morton, and Claira Bell Worsham. Survivors include his stepmother, Alda Worsham of Mansfield; two sisters, Lora Mae Cassell, and Minneola Rutherford and husband Hershel, all of Converse; two half sisters, Betty Lowe, and Viola Burr, both of Mansfield; eight nephews; and four nieces. Mr. Worsham was a member of the Union Springs Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II, and a retired self employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
