The Sabine Index - J. W. Ward, Sr.

  16 Feb 1940 - Last rites for J. W. Ward, Sr., age 74 years, were
held at Holly Grove cemetery last Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Claude
Stewart officiating.  Dennis-Green funeral home in charge.

  Surviving Mr. Ward are:  the widow, Mrs. J. C. Ward, Sr., Miss Velma
Dixon, Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Ethel McInnis, Port Arthur, Texas, and
Mrs. Jimmie Lee Jones, Warren, Texas; daughters and the following
sons:  J. C. Ward, Hornbeck, Joe Ward, Port Arthur, Texas, and eight
grandchildren.
