William Ward

  Funeral services for Mr. William Ward, 62, of Converse, were
held Saturday, March 30, 1996, at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps,
Ark.

  Mr. Ward passed away Sunday, March 24, in DeSoto General
Hospital.

  William touched the lives of many, and will be sadly missed by
all who knew him.

  He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Lucy Ward of Stamps,
Ark.; father, Tyree Ward of Springhill, Ark.; wife, Alice Faye
Ward of Converse; his children, Beverly, and William Jr. of
Stamps, Ark., William Holden Ward of Converse; sister, Jearlene
Ward of Stamps, Ark.; brothers, Melvin Calvin , John, Wilson, and
Jimmy Ward, all of Stamps, Ark.; and brother, Arvester Ward of
Tyler, Tex.; several sisters-in-law, and other half sisters and
brothers; one daughter-in-law; three grandchildren, Renaldo,
Justin, and Jasmine Ward; a grand host of nieces, nephews, great
nieces, nephews, great-great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles,
other relatives, and friends.
