Mr. J. C. Ward

  Mr. J. C. Ward, 56, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 2:45 p.m., in Lake
Charles, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 17, in the Warren
Meadows Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. C. D. Miles officiating.
Interment was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edna Sandel Ward of Westlake; three
sons, Billy R. Ellzey, and Eddie L. Ellzey, both of Westlake, and
Dan E. Ward of Broussard; two brothers, Frank Ward of Port
Arthur, and Joe Ward of Westlake; and three sisters, Mrs. Gladys
Farris of Orange, Texas, Mrs. Ethel Bush of Port Arthur, Texas,
and Mrs. Jennie Lee Jones of Silsbee, Texas.
