Jessie Yaw

  Jessie Yaw, resident of Heritage Manor #2 in Many, died December
9, in Highland Hospital in Shreveport, of a brief illness. Burial
services were held Friday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m., at Zion Hill
Baptist Church in Negreet.

  A former resident of Baytown, Texas, she was born in Mt. Olive,
Mississippi, on September 21, 1911.

  Jessie has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father. She leaves
behind, two sons and their wives, Rose and Kenneth Yaw of
Baytown, Tex., and Mary and Herb Yaw of Negreet; 8 grandchildren;
and 15 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Hollie Belle Walton of
Shreveport; one brother, Waller W. Rourk of Coushatta; several
nieces; and one nephew.

  She was preceded in death by one brother, Dabley Rourk. His
wife, Elizabeth and family, still live in Shreveport.

  She will be missed by many friends and relatives.
