Emmett Yeldell

  Funeral services were conducted for Emmett Yeldell of Hemphill,
Tex., at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Toro Baptist Church. The
Rev. Jerry Arthur, and the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiated. Burial
was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Yeldell died in Lufkin, Tex. On Saturday, Aug. 23. He was
68.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ellen Yeldell of Hemphill,
Tex.; two daughters, Sandra Ellen Wehner of Charleston, S. C.,
and Susan Elaine Alford of Houston, Tex.; one son, Stephen Emmett
Yeldell of Houston, Tex.; four sisters, Hazel Richard of
Lafayette, Margaret Thornton of Malvern, Ark., Helen Rawls of
Bastrop, and Doris Neal of Mer Rouge; one brother, Frank Yeldell
of Bastrop; and six grandchildren.
