Melvin J. Yawn

  Funeral services for Melvin J. Yawn, age 39, who died July 25,
were conducted at Spring Ridge Methodist Church at 3:30 p.m.,
July 27, with Rev. Barney Flanagan, and Rev. Frank Andrews
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Charlie Davis, Bill Moore, Odis Touchtone,
Raymond Thompson, Albert Boggs, and Claude Storey.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. LaRue Yawn of Beaumont; daughters,
Mrs. Billie Sue Boggs, and Maudie Faye Yawn of Beaumont; sons,
Melvin T., and Frederick Kirk Yawn of Beaumont; brothers, Berlin
Yawn of Shreveport, Reece Yawn of Bedford, England; sisters, Mrs.
Lula Mae Martinez of DeRidder, Mrs. Betty Varnell of Zwolle, Mrs.
Lucille Mathers of Omaha, Neb.
