Octava B. Young

  Octava Butler Young, 75, of Belmont, died Tuesday, April 29, at
her residence, after a long illness.

  Services were at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 2, in Lone Star Baptist
Church in Belmont, with the Rev. L. E. Simmons officiating.
Burial was in Monk Cemetery in Belmont.

  Survivors include one son, Herbert Cole of Tracy, Calif.; three
sisters, Mrs. Elmer Franklin, Mrs. Eutha Mae Cutright, and Mrs.
Isie Cubb, all of Many; two grandchildren; and four great
grandchildren.
