Leona Castie Young

  Funeral services for Leona Castie Young, 72, were held at 1
p.m., Sept. 25, at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel.

  The Reverend Joe Bob Alexander officiated. Burial was at Zwolle
Cemetery, under the direction of Wellman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jim Bradberry Jr., Danny Bradberry, Mack
Bradberry, Dino Brammer, John Ware Jr., and Bubba Parrish.

  Mrs. Young died Tuesday, Sept. 22, at LSU Medical Center, after
a lengthy illness.

  Survivors are her husband, Maurice Young of Shreveport; two
sons, John Ware of Burley, and Tommy Wimberley of Shreveport;
four daughters, Billie Jean Conner of Shreveport, Judy Wimberley
of Sumter, S. C., Rose Presley of Pleasantview, Tenn., and
Carolyn Wimberley of Shreveport; one brother, Ernest Castie of
Shreveport; two sisters, Velma Martin of Shreveport, and Syble
Childs of Zwolle; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
