George H. Yearwood

  George Hunter Yearwood, 77, died Friday morning, June 23, in a
Mansfield hospital, after a short illness.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 24, in the First
Baptist Church. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport,
under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esther Carter Yearwood; one
daughter, Kathryn Claxton of Dallas; one son, George Hunter
Yearwood Jr.; one brother, Marvin H. Yearwood of Carthage, Texas;
three sisters, Lavinia Bailey of El Paso, Texas, and Louise
English, and Carolyn Dodd, both of Shreveport; and two
grandchildren.
