Katherine S. "Katie" Zachry

  Graveside services for Mrs. Katherine S. "Katie" Zachry, 38, of
Shreveport, were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 12, at
Forest Park West Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's
Marshall Street Chapel. Dr. Bobby W. Cook, pastor of Kings
Highway Christian Church, where Mrs. Zachry was a member,
officiated.

  Mrs. Zachry, a native of Shreveport, and a resident most of her
life, died Tuesday, December 10, 1985, at Willis-Knighton Medical
Center.

  She is survived by her husband, Mr. J. Murray Zachry of
Shreveport; her father, Morrise Hampton Sloane Jr. of Converse;
her maternal grandmother, Helen S. Richard of Shreveport; one
son, James H. McCoy; and one daughter, Andi Lee McCoy of
Shreveport; one brother, Morrise Hampton "Bo" Sloane III of
Shreveport; and a number of other relatives.
