This is a photo of the Zwolle school. Taken sometime around 1913, which was 
the year this two-story brick building ws constructed. It was located just 
west of the present day Zwolle Intermediate School stands today. Eight 
teachers were employed, and it was in that year that Zwolle High School 
(grades 1-11 at that time) won state approval. Mr. W.R. Middleton was the 
first high school principal (Salter, 2000).
