West Fork Cemetery, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana Submitted by Jan Craven. File prepared by Lakita Cordova. ********************************************** Copyright. This is an African American Cemetery. It was read in August 1997 by Jan Craven. There are 75 unmarked adult graves and 6 unmarked children's graves. There were also many spots that were sunken where additional burials were probably. This cemetery is on a hill close to the West Fork of the Calcasieu River. There are many large trees that makes it a lovely shaded cemetery. Unfortunately it has been vandalized in the past. It is fairly well kept.
