Philip D. Quays and wife Adeliza Quays of Carroll Parish, Louisiana, to
John T. Rennie for the sum of $600 the following described property:
a certain mulatress woman named Harriett, slave for life, and her
infant near 2 months old.


Mar. 7, 1850 ..... SALE OF SLAVES .....F-209
Joshua E. Martin to Robert Anderson for the sum of $1,700 the following
described property:
Henry, a negro man aged 23, Sarah, a negro woman aged 23; and Nathan,
her son, aged about 1 year.
Witnesses: H.M. Jordon and John L. Manning

In the case of Francis M. Hayes vs. David G. Spurlock, suite #1273,
Sheriff to high bidder Robert Anderson for the sum of $1,000 the
following described property:
a negro man, slave for life, named Squire, aged about 23 years.

John C. Whitford and wife, Mississippi L. Whitford, to Robert Anderson
of Carroll Parish, Louisiana for the sum of $1,800
a negro man Lige, aged about 30 years old, and his wife Mariah, aged
about 21 years old and the girl Harriette, aged about 6 months,


Feb 15, 1856............SALE OF SLAVES......G-465
Lucius J. Polk, county of Maury?, Tennessee, to William Pickett,
administrator of the succession of Robert Anderson, for the sum of
$4,302.54, the following:
Negro slaves for life: Gobe 46 years, Washington 11 years, Jimmy 3,
Malinda 18, Dave 15 and Susan 15 years.
