---For Submitters---

Submitting Images of photos, documents, etc.:

1. Use GIF and JPEG images, never use the BMP extension.

2. Scan images at 300 dpi or less.

3. Limit the width of the files to 500 pixels or 7 inches.

4. Limit the resolution to: 75 (this helps make the image smaller and easier to upload).


---For Parish File Managers---

Adding Photographs and Scanned Documents to your website:

***Two entries for each document*** 
1. Would be made on the photos index HTML page
2. Another to the text file for the transcribed copy. 

Documents:
1. The HTML page with links to the Document image in the TOC
2. A transcription of the document is placed on the FTP site. A link to
this transcription should be placed beneath the link to the acutal image.
(Which do be honest, I don't do.  I only place the link in the index page.
