VPL * Hunt, Edward MMCL At this time, I have confirmed that Company B consisted of at least 16 officers and 79 privates. This company originated in Caldwell Parish, and was nicknamed the Caldwell Avengers. *Note: A soldier named Edward Hunt was listed on the Magnolia Hospital casualty list, which contains the names of men who died in battle at Magnolia, Mississippi. Edward Hunt was listed as a member of Company B, 31st Louisiana Infantry. However, his rank was not given, so I am listing him here with the privates.
