Succession of Pierre Durand,Deceased. By virtue of an Order of Decree to me directed from the Honorable the Sixth Judicial District Court of the State of Louisiana,in and for the Parish of Iberville,bearing date the 12th of March,1861,Ordering and decreeing the sale of the property belonging to the Succession of said Pierre Durand,dec'd and situated in the Parish of Iberville, I will offer at Public Sale,to the highest bidder on Thursday,the 18th of April,1861,11 o'clock A.M.,and on the premises,the whole of the following property to be sold in block,to wit: A Certain,PLANTATION,Cultivated as a Sugar Plantation,lying and situated in the Parish of Iberville,on the right bank of the river Mississippi,at about fifteen miles below the Bayou Plaquemine,measuring twelve arpents,more or less front on Mississippi river,by sixty six arpents more or less in depth,except the four upper arpents which have a depth of seventy two arpents more or less,the side lines diverging-giving a super-ficie of about thirteen arpents to said plantation.The said plantation is bounded by land of John H. Randolph,below by land of Henry Rantiford, and in the rear by lands of Felix Dugar,Wm. M. and J.R. Thompson,and J.A. Moreau,negro man aged 41 years,a carpenter;Patsy,negro woman,aged 35 years,and her 3 children - Eliza,a girl aged 6 years;Alfred a boy aged 3 years,and an infant child;Paul,negro man aged 34 years. he one undivided fourth part of the whole of the herein above described property belongs to the Succession of Pierre Durand,and the other three undivided fourth parts thereof belongs to Antoine Dubulcet,a resident of the said Parrish of Iberville,and the share of said Antoine Dubulcet in said property,is sold with the consent of said Antoine Dubulcet,as it appears by the order of the said Sixth Judicial District Court of Louisiana.
