Keller succession is this newspaper clipping, undated except for the date Sept 27. The year is probably 1843 as indicated in the notice. The defendant in the case is the former Eleanor Waddell of Wilkinson Co., MS, daughter of Rev. Noel Waddell, a minister in that community. Her first marriage was to George W. Keller, also of Wilkinson Co., on or about 11 March 1819. After Keller died before June 1832, Eleanor married James McDonald and relocated to West Feliciana Par. She had at least five children by George W. Keller. There are many probate records concerning the administration of Keller's estate in Wilkinson Co. However, the Orphans' Court records, Feb term 1833 give this information: Ordered that Letters of Guardianship be granted to Eleanor Kellar on the person and property of Wesley S. Keller, George W. Keller, Abel T. Keller, Mary Jane Keller and Martha G (?) Keller on her entering into Bond with William Lipscomb and Jesse Saunders as her Securities in the sum of Eighteen Thousand Dollars. Bond taken and oath duly administered.  Whether Eleanor had children by James McDonald is unknown. George Keller Bible Record, shows that George Keller, Jr., born 5 Feb 1795, married Eleanor Waddell 11 Mar 1819. [Mississippi Genealogical Society Publication, CEMETERY AND BIBLE RECORDS, V. II, *The George Keller Bible*]. There were a number of Keller families in this general area, and probably at least two, perhaps three, Keller families in Wilkinson Co. The George Keller Bible Record shows only two sons with the surname Keller: George [as in George W.] and Thomas. The latter son was later in Copiah Co., MS, where he died testate ca. 1838-1839.)
