Aug. 10, 1846 - Monday: This being the First Term directed by law, The Court
met, Present the Hon. Thos. C. Nicholls, Judge. At the opening of the Court,
Theodule Lauve Esq., District Attorney, having informed the Court that
altho' this was a jury term, yet no jury had been summoned because there
were no jury cases on the docket, the Court ordered to proceed with the
court cases.
