Attorney for Defendent - Charles A. Baquie

Oct. 22, 1887 - Saturday:
Law in favor of relator(?) Clement Colly and against Joseph Stein.
Clement Collu is recognized as Coroner of St. Charles Parish. The
commission issued to Joseph Stein on June 7, 1887 is declared null
and void. The said Joseph Stein is perpetually enjoined from
exercising said office or from interferring with the said Clement
Colly in the peaceful exercise of the same and that the respondent
pay all costs. Attorney for defendent filed motion for new trial...
refused...the defendent is aggrieved by the Judgement...it is ordered
that a suspensive appeal be granted to defendent...returnable to the
5th District Court of Appeals on the First Monday of March, 1888 on his
furnishing bond in the sum of $50.
