She was born in LaPlace and was a Norco resident for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. Andry and Clothilde B. Zeringue Andry and her brother, George F. Andry. She is survived by her sister Myrtis A. McWilliams, brother Earl J. Andry and five children; Terry J. (Debbie) Pfister, Glenn J. (Carol) Pfister, David J. Pfister, Sheila A. (Ben) Duecaster, Michael J. (Jenny) Pfister. Four grandchildren; Misti Marie, Hollie Elizabeth, Jimmie LeRoy and Kayla LeAnn. Five great-grandchildren; Brittany, Kirsten, Eric, Faith and Phoebe. Dot was a homemaker who loved a simple life. She loved her flowers and trying new recipes to cook. When you came by you always had to eat a little something. Her greatest achievement in life was making everyone happy. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am from the church with Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. Entombment will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. ===================
