BERGERON, EARLINE HILL 

Earline Rita Hill Bergeron "Lolly" Faithful and humble servant of the Lord; 
kind, gentle, joyful; loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who loved 
all and was loved by all, departed this earthly life and entered her eternal 
life with Jesus on February 11, 2010, at Chateau de Notre Dame in New Orleans at 
the age of 91. 

Born September 4, 1918 in Raceland, LA to the late Glenn E. Hill and Cecile 
France Hill; a resident of Norco, LA for 60 years. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert J. "Lucky" Bergeron, Sr. and son-in-
law, Jimmie Lear. 

Survived by her loving children: Juanita Guedry (Sidney), Glenna Jacob (Nelson), 
Wilbert "Whirly" Bergeron, Jr. (Janice), Ann Bourque (Irvin), Earline Brady 
(Rod), Edmond "Ed" Bergeron (Sherri), Debra Hinchman (Paul), JoAnn Arcuri 
(Joey), and her son in Christ, Terry Becnel; 19 grandchildren and 10 step-
grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 13 step-great grandchildren; 1 great-
great grandchild and 4 step great-great grandchildren. 

Also preceded in death by sisters, Julia Hill Acosta, Doris "Dodie" Hill Tripoli 
and brother, Edmond James "Mickey" Hill. 

Special thanks to the staff of Chateau de Notre Dame Nursing Home and Hospice 
Associates of New Orleans. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 14th from 6:00-9:00pm at H.C. Alexander 
Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. in Norco; and Monday, February 15th from 9:00-
10:45am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 401 Spruce St. in Norco. Mass of 
Christian burial at 11:00am. Celebrant: Rev. Msgr. Terry B. Becnel. Interment at 
St Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan, LA. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Chateau de Notre Dame, 2832 
Burdette St.,New Orleans, LA 70125; Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 401 Spruce 
St., Norco LA 70079, or Hospice Associates, 3941 Houma Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006.
