He was retired from Kaiser/C.I.I. after 30 years of service, member of Men of Manresa, Knights of Columbus #3634, Sacred Heart Yard Boys, Spillway R/C Club and an usher at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was the recipient of the Order of St. Louis Award and a quarterback for the University of Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marguerite Millet Bleakley. Six children; Margo (husband Brett) Ansel, Barry (wife Jodi) Bleakley, Jr., Donnie (wife Debbie) Bleakley, Cliff (wife Caroline) Bleakley, Debra (husband Ron) Dallimore and Larry (wife Stephanie) Bleakley. Sisters; Geraldine (husband Arnold) Labat, Deanna (husband Huey) Delaneuville and Bonnie (husband Jimmy) Raziano. Twenty-three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; George Bleakley and Arthemise Bourgeois. Brothers; Donald and Larry Bleakley. Sister, Sylvia Bleakley. Great Granddaughter, Hannah Ansel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco and will continue on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Fr. Terry Becnel officiant. Burial will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to: Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Spruce Street, Norco, La. 70079. Arrangements under the direction of H.C.
