JR. Dennis D. Dufour, Jr., born March 1, 1925 passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010. Married to Marilyn DuRocher on September 11, 1948. Marilyn died on March 14, 1987. Survived by: two children: Denny Dufour and wife Debbie Smith Dufour of Prairieville, LA and Mae Dufour Mayeux of Abbeville, LA; four grandchildren: Casey Paul Dufour, Tiffany Mayeux Olivier, Chrissie Dufour Belle, and Cody Michael Dufour; three great-grandchildren: Gabriel Olivier, Addisyn Belle, and Lane Olivier; sister, Dorothy Lorio; and brother, Kermit Dufour. Preceded in death by: parents: Dennis Donat, Sr. and Ida Robert Dufour; and brothers: Ralph Dufour and J.C. Dufour. He resided in Norco, LA for most of his life and has resided in Gonzales, LA for the last 19 years. He worked at Shell Chemical as a maintenance foreman and retired in 1982. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW II. Visitation will be at Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, LA on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to make a donation to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. ===================
