He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Linda Acosta Pfister, a brother Jerry Pfister Sr. and wife Alice, a son Arsen Pfister Jr. and wife Irene, a daughter Penny Pfister Bosco and husband John, 4 grandchildren Raquel Pfister, Daren Pfister, Carly Bosco, Emily Bosco, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Urvin Pfister Sr. and Nellie Millet Pfister, a son Daren Pfister and his brother Urvin Pfister Jr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Ln., Luling, La., from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, with The Fr. John Finn officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, 13396 River Rd., Destrehan, La. Arrangements handled by H.C. Alexander Funeral Home. ===================
