On Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, Wayne Joseph St. Pierre was released from his Earthly 
bond. 

From his birth on March 28, 1944, until the day of his passing, the man bestowed 
on family and friends the largesse of his kindness and caring.

He joins his parents Lelia Hymel and Albin Joseph St. Pierre Sr.; and brothers: 
Albin Joseph St. Pierre Jr. and Stanislaus St. Pierre.

Those who are left behind to bear the burden of grief are his wife Robin Lawyer, 
a brother, a sister, two daughters, a son, five grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

He was a man to match mountains and seas, and we are better for his time shared 
among us.

To recognize his having touched our lives, friends and family gathered together 
on Dec. 22 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling. A Mass was celebrated and 
burial took place at St. Charles Cemetery on Paul Maillard Road.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Catholic Campaign for Human 
Development, 7887 Walmsey Ave. in New Orleans.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in 
Norco.
