Bertha L. Walker passed away on Monday, September 13,2010.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Walker. 

Mother of Sharon Abel, Marlene Remondet, the late Patricia Williams and Robert 
Walker. Grandmother of Janice (Judd) Joliboix, Justin Baudier, Susan Baudier 
(Evan Coleman), Bobby Abel, Adam, Gabe and Emma Remondet and Great-Grandmother 
of Griffin Joliboix and Christian Coleman. Mother-in-law of Randy Abel, Peter 
Remondet, Danny Williams and the late Janice LambertWalker. Sister of Carolyn 
Duhe and George Landeche. 

Preceded in death by parents, Alma and Robert Landeche; sister, Mathilde De 
Vincent. Age 80 years. A native of Good Hope, La. and resident of Destrehan, La.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 10:00 am until 
11:45 am at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan. Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon from the church with Fr. Harry Bugler 
officiant.

Special thanks to the staff of Ormond Nursing Home. In Lieu of flowers, masses 
are preferred.
