Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2011 and click on the name of interest. ========== Louis "Benny" Benoit Abadie, an employee of Cytec, a native of Ama and resident of Boutte, died at his home on Thursday, October 13, 2011. He was 54 years old. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Roussel Abadie, his son Jesse Abadie of Luling and daughter Chelsea Abadie of New Orleans. Step-sons Lowell and Lance Roussel of Boutte and step-daughters Lacie Roussel of Gonzales and Lauren Roussel of Belle Chasse. Step-grandchildren; Gabrielle Keller, Chloe and Cambrie Roussel and Logan Roussel. The son of Dolores Oubre Abadie of LaPlace and Curtis Abadie of Florida. Brother of Michele (husband Michael) Bahry of Morgan City, David (wife Donna) and Wayne (wife Tammy) Abadie of Luling, niece Ashley Bahry, nephews Jordan, Nicholas and Seth Abadie. He was preceded in death by brother Charles "Chucky" Abadie, Maternal Grandparents Edgar and Lucy Haydel Oubre of Vacherie and Paternal Grandparents Louis Benoit Abadie and Philomene Roussel Abadie of Edgard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 9:30 am until 11:45 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church of Luling. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 12 noon from the church with Fr. David Rabe officiant. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. The family would like to express thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and the many friends who have made his life more enjoyable for the past two years.
