Randolph "Randy" Abel age 63, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at East 
Jefferson Memorial Hospital. 

He was retired as an electrician with the New Orleans Sewage and Water Board and 
a veteran of the Vietnam War in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sharon Walker Abel of LaPlace. Son 
Robert Abel of LaPlace and brother Herman Abel of Mandeville. Seven Sisters; 
Beatrice Brown of Colorado, Rosetta Pellegrin of Moreauville, Eva Shipes of 
Franklinton, June Lirette of Chauvin, Carol Lilliman of Marrero, Valarie Marcel 
of Gray and Ellennora Zurigo of Kenner. And a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl Henry Abel and Agnes Navarre.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June, 22, 2011 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am 
at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Memorial services will be held at 
10:00 am from the funeral home.
