ARMSTRONG

Lisa Faye Armstrong, 50, passed away on June 14, 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center 
of Jefferson.

She was the daughter of Claudette Armstrong Castillo and the late Lawrence 
Armstrong Sr., stepdaughter of Franklin Castillo, former wife of Frederick Al 
Smith Sr.,  mother of LaHoya Armstrong Gordon (husband Tremaine), LaToya Marie 
Armstrong, Frederick Smith Jr. and Charmaine Marie Smith; and sister of Angela 
Carmouche (husband Sylvester), Lawrence Armstrong Jr. (wife Katherine) and Keith 
Armstrong Sr. (wife Natalie). She is also survived by five grandchildren and a 
host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. 

She was a native and resident of St. Rose.

Funeral Services were held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in St. Rose on June 18 
with Rev. Isiah Franklin, Pastor, officiating. 
Interment  followed at Jefferson Memorial Garden Cemetery in St. Rose.
