BARCONEY, DIANNE 

Dianne Barconey departed this Earthly Life and entered into Eternal Rest on 
Aug. 25, 2011 at her residence in Apopka, Fla.

She was the daughter of the late William and Lillian Harris Thomas, 
beloved wife of 41 years to Oliver Barconey, loving mother of Perron, William, 
Tonia, Malinda, Ali, Dana, Kingsley, Dona, Travis, and Oliver Jr.; 
mother-in-law of Jacalyn, Ashley and Demetra; 
and sister of Rosemary Isaac, Theola Gullage and the late Minister Mona Honor. 
She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, one expected great-grandchild and a 
host of extended family and friends. 

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and continued to 
serve him throughout her life. 

She was a native of Boutte and a resident of Apopka.

Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and Members of the 
Rock of Ages Church of Marrero, Greater King Solomon Baptist Church and all 
neighboring churches were invited to attend the funeral services on Sept. 3 at 
the Rock of Ages Church in Marrero. Pastor Raney Antoine officiated. 
Interment followed in Mount Airy Memorial Park Cemetery of Boutte.
