Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2011 and click on the name of interest. ========== Warren Francis Bergeron, Sr. of Norco passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 9, 2011. He was 81 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of 59 years to Marilyn Miller Bergeron. Devoted father of Celeste Donaldson (Keith), Joelle Aiple (Roger), David Bergeron (Lisa), Randy Bergeron (Tracey), and the late Warren Bergeron Jr. (Jennifer). He is also survived by his siblings Deanna Weber and Sandra Almerico as well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceeded in death by his parents Clarence Leonce Bergeron and Edith Keller Bergeron and grandson Warren "Trey" Bergeron III. He will be deeply missed by a host of nieces and nephews and lovingly remembered by family and friends and all those who knew him. Graduated from Destrehan High School in 1948 and played baseball at Southeastern University College in Hammond. For many years, he attended retreats at Manresa Retreat House and served as Retreat Captain. He ushered at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Norco and devoted several hours a week to church work. He retired from Shell Oil Company as the Utilities Manager after 35 years of service. During the early years at Shell, he played semi pro baseball as second baseman. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Norco, Louisiana on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 9:30am to 11:45am. The funeral mass will begin at 12 noon with Interment immediately following in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan, LA. Arrangements under the direction of H.C.
