DUFRESNE, ULYSSE J. 
December 6, 1922 - February 28, 2011

Ulysse J. Dufresne, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011, age 88.

He was the husband of Joyce Hymel Dufresne, Father and father-in-law of Camille 
Dufresne, C. Louise Bourgeois (Keith), Mark Dufresne (Dawn), Jeanne Lauve 
(Perry) and Simone Finn (John). Grandfather of Robert Barker, Jr., Jacques 
(Kelly) and Antoinne Bourgeois, Dustin Zeringue, Matthew Lauve, Sean and Eryn 
Finn.

Great-grandfather of Robert Barker, III. Son of Ulysse O. and Ida Dufresne, 
preceded in death by brothers Claude and Amilcar Dufresne and sisters Ann 
Dennis, Cecile Faucheaux, Agnes Barre, Ethel Dufresne, Georgette Spoontz, 
Philomen Falgoust.

Retired from Monsanto Chemical and proudly served in the U. S. Merchant Marines.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 8:30 am until 10:45 am 
at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 
held at 11:00 am from the church. 
Burial will follow in the St. Philip Catholic Church Cemetery in Vacherie.
