October 1, 1931 - March 6, 2011 George J. Dugas age 79 passed away on Sunday, March 06, 2011 at the St. Charles Parish Hospital. He was a United States Air Force Veteran in the Korean Conflict, an Administrative Assistant for Offshore Navigation for 40 years and a member of the Louisiana Wildfowl Carvers and Collectors Guild. He is survived by his four daughters; Faye Dugas, Lisa Romero (Abel), Tessie Balliviero (Michael) and Candy Riley and one son Louis Kalade. One brother Wallace Dugas and two sisters; Joyce Cheney and Lou Dugas. Nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yolande Castille Dugas and parents; Elisie Dugas and Amy Berard. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 9:15 am until 10:45 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am with Msgr. Harry Bugler officiating. Burial will follow in the church mausoleum. Arrangements under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, LA. ===================
